This policy explains what personal information UDesign collects on this site, why, where it is kept and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
UDesign Productions Corp. (UDesign) is responsible for the personal information collected on this site.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Kaleb Knister, President. To reach him: contact@udesignproductions.com or 819 481-1022.
What UDesign collects
When you send an appointment request: your name, company or organization, email, phone, the reason for your visit, your ideal times and your note.
With each request, Netlify, the site's host, also records your IP address, the browser you used and the page the request was sent from, and runs it through an automated spam filter (Akismet).
When you write to or call UDesign: the content of your messages.
To measure site traffic, UDesign uses Umami, an analytics tool that sets no cookies and is not used to identify you.
The site sets two functional cookies, "language" and "NEXT_LOCALE", that remember your language for one year. No advertising cookies are used.
Why
This information is used to answer your request, set an appointment, then prepare a quote or an order if you want one. UDesign does not sell it and does not use it to send you advertising without your consent.
Where it is kept
Requests sent through the form are received and stored by Netlify, the site's US-based host, which may process them in the United States. A copy arrives by email in UDesign's Microsoft 365 mailbox.
Before using these services, UDesign assessed the protection given to your information outside Quebec.
How long
Requests are deleted from Netlify 12 months after they are received. Emails about a project are kept as long as they are useful to that project or required by law, for example for accounting records.
Who can see it
Only UDesign's owners. Netlify and Microsoft host it on UDesign's behalf, and Netlify's spam filter (Akismet) checks each request.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent. Write to contact@udesignproductions.com. UDesign answers within 30 days.
